Lake Zone Polytechnic Institute (LZPI) is a premier public technical and vocational institution located in Mwanza, Tanzania, strategically situated on the shores of Lake Victoria. Since our founding in 2008, we have grown into one of the most respected polytechnic institutions in East Africa.
We offer a wide range of accredited diploma, advanced diploma, and certificate programs across six faculties and schools, combining rigorous academic standards with hands-on practical training.
Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, workshops, a modern library, student accommodation, sports facilities, and a thriving innovation hub — providing students with everything they need to succeed.
